Step 10: Test site functionality

Once one or more of the pages have been made dynamic and have had content sources and bindings added to them, you can test them. You can use the GoLive Preview tab to view dynamic pages. Be aware that the Preview tab is not a full browser, and you may not be able to perform all page functions from the Preview tab. The GoLive Preview tab uploads a temporary copy of the page to the server and has the server process the page and send the results back to GoLive for display. You can also use the Preview in Browser feature to view dynamic pages, but bear in mind that not all dynamic aspects of the page will function, since the page is not being processed on a Web server.

You can also upload pages to the server and view their dynamic content in a browser by typing your site's URL in the browser.
