Data sources

Data sources represent sources of information that can be used on a Web page. Data sources can include relational databases, XML files, shopping carts, and order forms. It is also possible to define custom data sources. A data source is an object defined in GoLive for a particular Web site. The data source includes information about how to connect to the database and the database username and password, if one is required for access.
