Installing GoLive preconfigured dynamic content servers

GoLive includes a preconfigured Web server that supports PHP and JSP. The sample sites shipped with GoLive are built into this server. The server installer will also install the MySQL database if you do not already have it. See the ReadMe file in the preconfigured server package for installation instructions and more details. This server is suitable for development of dynamic sites in GoLive using PHP or JSP. You can find it on the GoLive server CD.

Development of ASP sites can be done using Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) or Personal Web Server (PWS). PWS is available for Windows 98 and 2000. IIS is available for Windows NT, 2000, and XP Professional.
