Troubleshooting configuration problems


    The GoLive Dynamic Content module can scan your server and site configuration, and display its findings in troubleshooting reports that let you check on every aspect of your server setup. The site must be open and installed on a Web server.

To troubleshoot your site and server configuration:

  1. Choose Site > Settings.
  2. Select the server-side scripting language you use on the site in the Server Processing Languages area of the Settings dialog box.
  3. Click Test.
  4. The Troubleshooting Report for the selected scripting language opens in your default browser. You can use this report to troubleshoot problems. Print it and have it at hand if you need to contact Adobe technical support.

    You can also check to see if the data sources you have installed in your site are functioning properly.

To test data sources:

  1. Chose Site > Settings.
  2. Select a data source listed in the Data Sources area of the Settings dialog box.
  3. Click Test.
  4. A dialog box tells you whether the data source is valid or not.
