If you are already familiar with GoLive, you'll be able to quickly learn wireless authoring techniques. Organize and plan your site Use the site project file to keep your files organized and links between pages valid. The GoLive design diagram features let you work out the hierarchy and navigation between pages before you start constructing pages. Add content to pages You add and format text and images, link pages, and develop forms for user input using the GoLive toolbars, menus, Objects palette and Inspector. Use unique GoLive features to simplify development Smart Objects let you add graphic files and optimize them for wireless Web sites from right within GoLive. With stationery pages you can set up default pages with settings and content you want on every page. Design with the wireless user in mind As you develop CHTML and XHTML pages, you can set up your view of the document window to resemble a phone browser layout. For WML and XHTML sites, you can use the Nokia phone emulator to see how your pages will look on various model phones. For CHTML sites, you can use the Access phone emulator to preview your pages. Note that the Nokia and Access phone emulators are only available for the Windows version of GoLive. |
