Rewriting source code automatically

You can use GoLive to automatically rewrite source code that you manually entered yourself. GoLive rewrites the code with indents and line breaks, changes the case of tags and attributes, and sets quotes for attribute values as specified in Web Settings, or in the current DTD if the document has a doctype. For example, GoLive rewrites the source code in an XHTML document according to XHTML standards.

To rewrite source code automatically:

In any of the editors, choose Edit > Rewrite Source Code. GoLive rewrites the source code according to the current DTD, or the options selected in the Global tab and Markup tab of Web Settings.
