You use the Control Strip to monitor the battery charge level. The Control Strip shows you
•
the current battery charge level
•
the estimated time remaining before the battery needs to be recharged
•
how fast the battery is being used (battery activity monitor)

If your computer has two batteries inserted at the same time, the Control Strip displays the charge level for both batteries.

Tip: If your battery has an external battery charge level indicator, you can check the charge level when your computer is turned off or the battery is removed.
