These shortcuts work in Save dialog boxes. A plus sign (+) means keys are held down together.

	Press these keys		To do this
			Select the item above or below the selected item.
	Letter keys		Select an item in the active list whose name begins with the letters typed.
			Move to the next keyboard focus item.
			Move to the top of the scrolling list.
			Move to the bottom of the scrolling list.
			Scroll the list up one screen.
			Scroll the list down one screen.
			Move up one level in the file hierarchy.
	or		Change current location to the desktop.
	or		Open the selected folder or volume.
	or		Select the original of an alias.
			Create a new folder.
			Click the Save button (if it is active).
	or		Click the default button (usually Save or Open).
	or		Close the dialog box.
			Display the next location in a historical sequence (similar to the "Forward" command in Web browsers).
			Display the previous location in a historical sequence (similar to the "Back" command in Web browsers).
