Backing up files
Backing up files helps you prevent the loss of important documents, applications, and other software. You should back up important documents every day by copying the files to another disk (such as a floppy or Zip disk, a shared disk on a network, or an external hard disk). You should also use a backup application to automatically back up the entire contents of your hard disk. Software reviews Reviews of popular Macintosh backup software products can be found on the Web at the Macworld and MacAddict Web sites, for example. For more information You can find more information about products for backing up your files in the Apple Macintosh Products Guide at guide.apple.com Related topic
