Sharing color information

You can use your ColorSync profiles on another computer so that you can print or view color the same way from that computer.

To share color profiles with another computer, open the ColorSync control panel and follow these steps:
1 Click the Profiles tab and choose Profiles in Workflow from the main pop-up menu.
2 Choose ColorSync Workflows from the File menu.
    3 Select a configuration.
4 Click the Export button and save your configuration.
5 Transfer this workflow configuration file to another computer.
6 On the destination computer, open the ColorSync control panel.
7 Click the Profiles tab and choose Profiles in Workflow from the main pop-up menu.
8 Choose ColorSync Workflows from the File menu.
9 Click the Import button, then choose a configuration to import.
10 Select the configuration in the Active ColorSync Workflows list, then click the Make Active button.

Note: With Apple monitors that support Apple DigitalColor Technologies, you can use the Saved Settings list in the Color section of the Monitors control panel to import and export ColorSync profiles. You can create a profile from the Saved Settings list, and click the Export button to export the profile to another computer or to share the profile with another user. To import a profile, click the Import button, choose a profile from the list of profiles, and recalibrate your monitor.
