Adding Web-based templates to the Templates panel in Starting Points

    You can add a copy of a Web-based template to Starting Points so it can be accessed locally from the Templates panel.

    To add a Web-based template to the Templates panel:
    1 Open a Web-based template.
    2 Choose Save As from the File menu.
    3 Type a name for the template.
    4 Click Template.
    5 Use the controls in the Save dialog box to navigate to the Templates folder (located in the Starting Points folder, which is in the AppleWorks 6 folder).
    6 Click Save.
    AppleWorks adds a thumbnail image of your saved document to the collection of templates in Starting Points.
