Arranging slides

Slides print or play in the order they are arranged in the Controls window. (Also, the order in which a slide appears is indicated by the number in the upper-right corner of the slide thumbnail.)

Tip: You can also specify which slides can appear during a slide show and specify which slides can print.

You rearrange the order of slides by dragging the thumbnail images in the Controls window. Use the slide panel to move individual slides, and use the organize panel to organize slides into groups and to reorder or delete groups of slides at a time.

Note: Any rearranging or deleting you do in the slide panel is reflected in the organize panel, and vice versa.

Moving a slide to a new place in a presentation

To move a slide to a new place in the presentation:
1 Click the slide tab in the Controls window.
2 Before you move the slide, make sure it has a name so you can keep track of it.
3 Drag the thumbnail image to a new place.
Tip: You can scroll upward or downward through the slides by dragging the thumbnail to the bottom or top edge of the thumbnail area.

If you don't see the Controls window:
Choose Show Presentation Controls from the Window menu.
