Chem 406 Web Termpapers - Fall 2000

The Structure-Function Relationships for the
Enzymes in the Citric Acid Cycle

The Web termpapers (Webpapers) this year describe the structure-function relationships of the enzymes that catalyze the reactions in the glycolytic, gluconeogenesis, and lactate fermentation pathways. The Webpapers make extensive use of the Chime plug-in for generating 3-dimensional interactive images of the enzymes. The images can be rotated by clicking on them and moving your mouse. Click-pausing (Macintosh), or right-clicking (Windows), produces a pop-up menu that provides additional opportunities for manipulating the 3-dimensional images. Scattered throughout the text of the Webpapers are push buttons that look like this , When pushed, they will modify the images in context with what is being discussed in the Webpaper. For further information on obtaining and using the Chime plug-in, visit the Molecular Modeling page.
