  • ENTREZ-This is a free Medline Search engine. It will not only search for relevant papers by key words, but will get you the abstracts, too.
  • OMIM- If your presentation concerns ANY sort of genetically linked human disorder, OMIM (Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man) will give you all the information you need to get started.
  • The Human Genome Project- Likewise if you are dealing with a human genetic disorder,this site will help.
  • National Center for Biotechnology Information- (NCBI) This resource will coonect you with all major genetic and protein structural resources.
  • Database for Molecular Movements- An interesting little web site which documents three dimensional protein motions in the function of enzymes.
  • ACS Journals-As a UWEC student you now have access to on-line versions of all the American Chemical Society journals. You can even get full text articles if they are within the last few years. These journals include: BIOCHEMISTRY , BIOTECHNOLOGY PROGRESS, JACS, JOURNAL OF NATURAL PRODUCTS, JOURNAL OF MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY and MODERN DRUG DISCOVERY
